Hello Sweden!

The world is changing at an astonishing speed. We are watching entire career paths disappear, and job roles being re-imagined at every level. From a civic perspective, emerging technologies require new governance models and social structures that preserve democracy and inclusion. What matters now, more than ever, is coming together and developing the confidence and ability to navigate what comes next.

We are Colibri Co:lab. Our mission is to empower Gen Z to shape the future for the betterment of people and planet.

Two possible futures:

Path A

Disconnected & Powerless

  • AI replaces entry-level jobs, skills obsolete before completing education.
  • Isolated individuals competing for scarce opportunity.
  • Feel like passengers in a future others built.
  • Civic disengagement: “Why participate when I have no agency?”
  • Democracy weakens, extremism rises.
Path B

Connected & Equipped

  • Developed AI-resistant capabilities that enable adaptation.
  • Connected community solving challenges together.
  • Citizens shaping the future they want.
  • Restored agency: “I can influence outcomes that matter.”
  • Democracy strengthened by engaged, capable communities.

We are building the bridge to Path B through awareness, connection, and collective capability.

The abilities you'll develop

12 essential meta-capabilities for navigating complexity

What we're building

Belonging. Colibri brings people together to shape what comes next and build the collective capability to make it happen.

Purpose. The gap between passenger and architect doesn't close on its own. It closes when people commit to working on real problems together.

Ability. In facilitated learning pods, you develop 12 essential tools that don't become obsolete when AI advances, and leave with lasting networks, clarity, and the confidence to act.

The abilities you'll develop

Colibri's collaborative learning pods are built around 12 essential tools – meta-capabilities that don't become obsolete when AI advances. These aren't job-specific skills with 5-year expiration dates. They're foundational abilities for navigating complexity, building collective solutions, and creating meaningful change in any context.

Sense-Making

Systems Thinking · Futures Thinking · Critical Information Literacy

Learn to see the interconnections others miss. Map how systems actually work, not how they're supposed to. Explore multiple possible futures and the assumptions behind them.

Action

Theory of Change · Rapid Prototyping · Strategic Networking

Move from insight to impact. Design pathways from current reality to desired outcomes. Test ideas quickly through low-cost experiments.

Collaboration

Powerful Questioning · Facilitation · Conflict Navigation

Work effectively in diverse teams. Ask questions that unlock deeper understanding. Guide groups toward productive outcomes without dominating.

Inner Resilience

Reflective Practice · Agency · Civic Identity & Purpose

Sustain yourself through complexity and change. Learn from experience intentionally. Develop the confidence that you can influence outcomes that matter.

How you'll learn them: Not through lectures or theory. You'll practice these tools on real civic challenges, working in small teams within your pod, supported by experienced facilitators and champions.

Why they matter, everywhere: Whether you pursue a corporate role, entrepreneurship, political office, artistic career, or a civic organization, these abilities translate. You're not preparing for one career path. You're developing the capabilities to shape outcomes across any path you choose.

2027 and beyond
City hubs across Europe. A community platform connecting participants and alumni. An open curriculum available to all.
The vision
A future grounded in inclusion, understanding, and civic engagement. Where Gen Z doesn't just adapt to change – but directs it.

This is your invitation

We're looking for people who:

  • Want more agency over outcomes that matter to them
  • Believe collective capability beats individual competition
  • Are willing to show up and challenge themselves
  • See civic engagement as essential, not optional

This 8-minute survey helps us understand where you are now and what you're seeking. Your responses shape how we design the experience.

No prior experience needed. Just curiosity, commitment, and the refusal to stay a passenger.
